Coca-Cola Copter is a flying advertising object. It was designed to be used in summer festivals and open-air concerts, where usually the people has to wait for at least half an hour between the different groups performing.

In this time people usually take a drink, or just talk to each other, but most of the time stay at their places and so in a big crowd. Because there is nothing that could entertain the people during the pause, it is a great time for companies to advertise their products because people are very open to any new in this period.

It is even more true with a moving object. So the final design became a flying object, which is created using the basic mechanical parts of radio-controlled helicopter models, and putting them together in an unusal way.

Two horizontal rotors are placed on two wings, and these rotors can be inclined to control the movement of the vehicle: it can take-off land vertically, and can fly forward or backwrds by tilting the rotors together forward or backward. For turning the rotors has to be tilted in different angles.

To make sore the concept is all right, I have created a working modell, which is able to fly and can show the maneuvers.

The body is designed to show the charateristics of the well-known Coca-Cola bottle shape, and is made of vacuum-formed plastic-foil. The coloures also follow the Coca-Cola style and so alltogether the vehicle can be a very good advertising object by entertainig the people flying over their heads in the pauses and suggesting them to get a refreshing drink with the quite strong down-wind created by the rotors.
