Peugeot 4th International Design Contest - P.L.E.A.S.E. innovate!

A small, pleasurable, simpe, economic and environment-friendly car.
Simplicity and pleasure are the keywords for this concept.
Roodster is a small, lightweight two-seater roadster, which is constructed to give the most driving pleasure to the users possible: It has a small but powerful engine in the front, and rear-wheel drive for best weight-balance and increased driving pleasure.
It has semi-automatic paddleshift on the steering wheel.
It is an open vehicle to enchance the feeling of speed and freedom when driving the car.
The car itself has a very simple base, which is constructed by moulded plastic parts and steel reinforcements. This houses the cabin area, the windscreen and the baggage-compartment. To this part the engine and the suspensions are attached.
Alltogether this is the mechanical base fo the vehicle.
To this base plastic bodypanels are attached and so the bodywork is created.
These bodypanels are created by recycled material.
This setup allows very flexible usage, it can be easily personalized and also repaired.
All in all Roodster shows the qualities of Peugeot compressed into a small, user-friendly and lively car.
