Peugeot 9007
Gaia GM 50 |
It is a real sportscar, so the engine is in the middle to get the best balance. It is a 6.0 litres V12 "heavy duty" one, which power output is 500 HP. The drive is on the rear wheels, just as a sportscar has to have it. This power needs quite good stopping capability, so it has 4 ventillated disc brakes, with 6 piston calipers on the front wheels and 4 piston calipers on the rear wheels. To make this power more realistic, the engine is under the rear glass windshield, visible to people. The windshield is punched to let people hear the sound of the engine and to make the ventillation better - even in rush-hour traffic. Inside the car there is a wall, separating the passengers from the sound and the heat of the engine, but this wall's upper side is also made of glass to let the driver see out behind and to let him/her see the heart of the car. To ensure the best road-holding for the car, instead of wings 9007 has a diffuser under the body. All the inlets have their functions on the car: the upper ones provide fresh air for the engine, the lower ones lead the air to the cooler, which is in the back of the car. The two inlets on the top of the boot-lid, in the front, are to let fresh air into the passenger compartment. There are two xenon lights in both headlights to ensure the best view for the driver. The taillights are LED lights, just as a modern car needs them. On the sides of the body there are chrome stripes. These are to emphasize the speed which this car is made for. That's why these stripes are wider in the front and tighter at the back. The front part with that small air intake starts right behind the front wheel and shows the direction of heading. These stripes are also good to have the door handles in and behind them, hidden into the doors. So my dream Peugeot is a sportscar with the most powerful engine and best sporty qualities which a Peugeot ever had. |
