Audi A-fly
Gaia GM 50 |
On the two wings of the vehicle there are four-four small jet-engine-groups. These can be tilted forward and backwards separately so the flight can be controlled with these movements. At take-off and landing the engines are vertical and so the flying can be controlled with the speed of the engines. When flying forward both of engine-groups are tilted forward, when flying backwards, both are tilted backwards. By tilting the engine-groups in different angles the vehicle can be turned around. The interior is a simple seat. A-fly can be controlled with two joystiks which control the tilt-angle and the speed of the engine groups on the same side. So flying the vehicle is very simple. Navigation is helped by GPS and by radar. Flying in cities and between other objects is helped by two cameras, which project the simplified image of the radar onto the windscreen, so it can be navigated safely in bad weather conditions also. There are four spotlights on the front of A-fly to help landing.
